I'm gone...

 ...sort of.

So, it kinda occurs me that some people aren't as much interested in The Sims series as it was used to be. I mean, sure, people are interested in other video games like Minecraft and whatnot, but as for The Sims, there's not much to it.

As for me, I'm more focusing on 3D animation more than modding because that's what I learn the most about rigging and animation. And I'm NEARLY lost my interest to The Sims series as well, unfortunately.

I have a new iMac computer, yeah. But I mostly spend my time on just learning 3D and do it for work. I do play some games on it, but there's not much to it. Not unless I have another computer with highest spec that could run games like RE8 or the upcoming RE4R (*wink-wink*). So yeah, I'm kinda or sorta not interested the series any longer for some odd reason. Oh, and here's some questions you would probably gonna ask me (or not, whatever):-

What happened to the projects I announced years ago?

I'm pretty sad to say that these projects will be shelved for the time being. I can't focus on working EVERYTHING because I'm just one guy, getting older and getting weaker. Yeah, growing old sucks, but that's what life is all about. So from here on out, I'm gonna finish ONE project and I'm gonna taking a huge break, probably 2 years or 3 years, depending if I'm interested in the series again.


Am I gonna retire from the series?

N-O. Just because I'm not interested doesn't mean I'm retiring from it. I'm just not interested in the series anymore, that's all. I may be picking up the game IF I feel like it.

Is this the end...?

It depends on how you look at it, whether this is the end of my blog or not, that's up to your speculation.

[W. I. P.] New Guy Fawkes Mask v1.0

Hey there, fellow Simmers? How y'all doing? :D

Oh man, it's so nice to be back on The Sims! Although I did post my WIP Mortal Kombat Klassik outfit like, a few months ago, BUT unfortunately, my old iMac can't run any latest games AND it's GPU is toasted. In other words, I can't play even an old game on it.

But last year, I bought myself a NEW (not-so-new) iMac computer, with decent specs to run The Sims 4! And you have NO IDEA how many weeks it took me to install EVERY SINGLE PACK that I have! I have to browse through all of my old discs just to install everything! My goodness gracious!

Anyways, sorry if I'm getting a little sidetrack, but I would like to show you something that I did alongside the MK outfit...

Remember... Remember the 5th of November...

In case you didn't know, I'm making a new Guy Fawkes/Anonymous mask for The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4, with NO EPs required. Yes, I know I've released this version of the mask, but unfortunately, the model for that mask isn't mine. It was made by "ghonma" from TF3DM (sadly, I couldn't find him anywhere).

As for this mask, I made it myself by creating one from scratch and using photos as a reference, which it's quite fun. Hopefully I'm gonna make another version in the future.

So, keep an eye out for this mask, I'm probably gonna release it SOON...

...probably.

I'M BACK... (teaser)

 

[W. I. P.] Mortal Kombat Ninja Outfit for The Sims 2 (so far...)

 Hey there, fellas! How's it hangin'? :D

Did you guys miss me?

No?

...okay, maybe I was gone for like, a year now. I mean, things have been really REALLY busy and boy... are we still alive right now.

COVID hits everyone pretty hard since last year, and it's still going as I'm writing this. Before jumping onto the topic, I just wanna say that I sincerely hope everyone is alright, have a beautiful day and stay safe, as always.

Alright, onto the topic!

Back in 2012, I made a post about my Mortal Kombat Ninja Outfit project for The Sims 2 because at that time, I put my Assassin's Creed project on-hold (and now, I have no idea where I put that project... I hope I didn't lost that project folder) and went straight to make the Ninja outfit based on Mortal Kombat 3. It went smoothly so far and here's the screenshot of my progression:-

I'll be honest with you; from a very simple draft to an actual clothing mesh is always a good thing, especially this one. If you try to compare this with my earlier progress, there's that HUGE difference between the two. My original plan was to use the pre-existing mesh to create his vest, but then I thought, "eh, I should just make this from scratch". Same goes with his mask, but unfortunately, the original Maxis mesh for the Ninja mask wasn't that good, so I have to do it myself.

And I think, that's pretty much it for the updates. Oh yeah, I almost forgot; in these upcoming months, I'm gonna get my new-but-not-so-new iMac computer (which I'm so excited) so that I can continue my projects for ALL The Sims series, as I've mentioned before in my older posts, because I'm seeing everybody still playing including The Sims 1, which it isn't surprising to me. Hey, we're all Simmers who enjoys playing The Sims games!

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SIMS SPARK'D

Hello hello, fellow simmers! :D

So... for a year of no updates as usual, I've been occupying myself with stuff that's been going on IRL, but the reason I came here is because I saw this image on my Facebook this early morning and I thought, "Oh, this must be one of those Sims Community challenge or something", but after reading the description, I was... quite surprised! It's...

...a REALITY TV SHOW.

I really do thought this was a collab with MTS2 at first glance.

So, what is The Sims Spark'd? Of course, you don't need to ask that, I'm pretty sure all of you already knew that answer. But I'll just go with it, to those who haven't heard of it. The Sims Spark'd is a reality TV show where there's 12 contestants joined to compete by showing off their creations, from CAS to building houses and/or to create stories for your Sim(s). Whoever has the best of all, wins the prize of $100,000. That's one big sum of money, I tell ya.

My thoughts about this? Well...

I'm not really into ANY reality TV shows because I don't watch them, nor a fan of any competition shows. Because the word "competition" doesn't sound good to me. Anything that has "competition" in it will probably lead to something ugly, and of course, there's that money on the line which could sacrifice your friendship with another. I don't like that idea. No offense to those who likes competition and reality TV shows, but I'd rather do collabs or working together as one team. No fights or quarrels over a damn money, just a few Simmers who's having fun and enjoy creating things to our hearts' content. :)

I'VE BEEN GONE FOR FOUR FREAKING YEARS! D:

Hey there, fellow Simmers! :D

Wow, it's been for FOUR YEARS of NOTHING in this blog! Holy mother of Sim Reaper, take my life away and bury me with your sweet, sweet flowers! (...actually, no. I'm not ready to die yet.)

So, where the hell have I been to ALL THESE YEARS?!
There's NO UPDATES for these PAST FOUR YEARS?!
Is this blog's going to CLOSE?!
Am I DEAD?!

The answer is... NO.

This blog is STILL UP, and I'm NOT GONNA CLOSE THIS BLOG until I breath my last. You have my words on that.

There's been... so many things happened lately, both in the world of cyberspace and reality. So, to make my long story short; I'm start focusing on 3D animating/modelling on 2016, my iMac's GPU is busted since 2017, got back up by 2019 and... here I am.

That's the very shortest story I could come up with. LOL!

Anyways, I've been gone for so long, I literally forgot about this blog. I love The Sims series and in fact, it would stay in my heart and my mind, for the things I did for The Sims 2, would PROBABLY the same for the others, too. I'm actually do have plans to make more mods for The Sims 2, but people are playing The Sims 4 nowadays, so I thought "maybe I should do mods for The Sims 4 too". That's no big deal for me, but unfortunately, my computer is way, WAAAAAY old to run ANY next-gen games, unable to play these awesome-looking graphics that looks too damn real you couldn't distinguish between virtual and reality, like Death Stranding or Man of Medan, for example.

I've missed so many games BIG TIME. So, hopefully, by the end of 2019, I'll be having a new iMac with better processor, with high-end specs and what not, so that not only can I make more mods for The Sims series, but also improving my 3D skills.

So, as always, I hope you guys enjoy reading, and I'll see you guys sooner or later in next post. ;)

P. S. I would probably coming back in the next months or so, not until I have my new iMac.
